PT. Harmoni Drilling Services (HDS) is a well-known Indonesia based Drilling services provider. Over the last 5 years, the Company has expanded into an integrated services provider with the Oil & Gas Industry, providing onshore & Offshore Drilling Rig Services and Maintenance services in the region and internationally.
In 1975, having obtained a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Institute Technology Mara (Now known as University Technology Mara), he worked for 2 years with Bechtel Inc. as a Project Cost Engineer and in 1980 acquired a degree Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, USA.
Period 1981-1996 he worked with Mobil Oil Indonesia (now Exxon Mobil) in Career development Modules with rotating positions in various departments, viz Drilling, Engineering, Finance, procurement and international Audit to fast track and widen his knowledge and skills.
Since 1996-2002, worked as a Consultant in the Onshore & Offshore Drilling Operations in the Region and Overseas and later in 2002-2007 was appointed by China Offshore Services Limited (COSL) as pioneer representative in Indonesia, for the offshore Jack-up Rigs Bohai-4 and Submersible Nanhai-2. Thereafter, he has maintained close rapport with all Principals and become a successful entrepreneur in the Region.
