Commercial downtime due to “equipment-breakdowns” has always been an undesirable occurrence for any Contactor. Apart from the resulting commercial losses, the loss-in-reputation is the major downside to frequent equipment breakdown, especially when viewed in the long term perspective. We partner our principals to ensure these breakdowns are minimised by putting in place a systematic, organized and customized technical maintenance plan. With a dedicated team of experienced engineers under a Senior Engineer/Manager monitoring the technical performance of the Asset on a regular basis and providing technical support to the rigs round the clock. Thus, the Ownership for ensuring maintenance is shifted from the “operations-driven & over-loaded” Rig team to the Shore office.
We provide Annual maintenance services as well as Total Technical / Asset Management services. This approach is to be implemented in conjunction with all departments on board. Broadly, these would include Drilling, Mechanical, Electrical and Marine.
With our in-depth experience, we ensure that “Locked Capital”, due to huge inventory pile-ups of spares and stores, is minimized without compromising on operations or safety. Ordering spares / equipment utilizing the JIT system (Just-in-time) enables us to free this Capital which can then be used for better advantages by the Clients. Planning and placing orders keeping the long lead times for critical equipment ensures that the critical spares /equipment are made available in-time for the anticipated requirement.
Another major benefit of this plan is that the quantum of work-scope that normally gets accumulated to be dealt-with during the OOS period, gets minimised. Regular visits by our Technical team on-board the asset, ensures that issues get nipped-in-the-bud at the onset itself, and combined with predictive & Planned maintenance regime, equipment are maintained in a healthy and more reliable state.
